Galveston Housing +
Programs
-
The transition out of homelessness is not only physical, but social, emotional, and psychological. GH+ residents will be given "sabbatical" time to transition with the help of trauma-informed counseling services.
-
GH+ residents will have access to individualized case management to help them navigate complex systems and achieve their goals. This includes access to LCSWs and LCDCs.
-
Through creative community partnerships, GH+ residents will master the competencies required to transition out of the program, navigate the "housed" world, and achieve their personal goals.
-
In the future, GH+ plans to partner with technical programs to give residents opportunites to learn new skills they can then use to support themselves, and employment opportunites through partnerships with local businesses.
